Free Intro Classes & On Ramp Program

First, if you landed on this page because you are an experienced CrossFitter who recently moved to our area and you’d like to join our gym, look no further. Click here to sign up for a membership. If you have previous CrossFit experience and you wish to check out our gym to see if it is the right fit for you prior to signing up for a membership, you can sign up for a free “CrossFit” drop-in class using this designated membership option. If you are coming in as a Friend/Family of a current member, you will also use this option.

The on-ramp program is required for all athletes without previous CrossFit experience prior to taking CrossFit classes.

Choose your FREE Intro Class – Start here if you don’t have previous CrossFit experience
Our free intro classes are scheduled multiple times throughout each month.   We have two versions of our intro class available for you to choose from.  You must sign up on-line to reserve your spot.

  • On-ramp 1 (Intro) (1.5 hours)  You will start with a general warm up and then spend some time learning some of the common movements we perform in a standard CrossFit class (ex: air squat, shoulder press, jump rope, box jump). You will do a short workout scaled to your level that focuses on technique and is completely do-able for anyone.  Then we will talk about what makes CCCF unique, our membership options, and how CrossFit can change your life.
  • No Sweat Intro (30 minutes)  you will learn what makes Cream City CrossFit Co-operative unique, what CrossFit is, and how CrossFit can change your life.  This intro is essentially a meet and greet.  You will talk one on one with CrossFit trainer and get all of your questions answered.  If you decide to continue, you will sign up and pay for our on-ramp program.  Email is if you prefer this option and do not see it on our calendar.
  • Free trial class for experienced members interested in joining our gym  if you are an experienced CrossFitter, we do not require you to complete the on-ramp program (you are welcome to go through it again if you want a refresher). Feel free to sign up for a free trial “CrossFit” class to check out our gym and determine if our community is a good fit for you.

If the regularly scheduled intro session doesn’t fit into your schedule, no problem! Simply email us with your availability and we will work with you to get you scheduled.

To sign up for your free intro class, simply click on the link below and choose the date and time that works for you (you may need to click the arrow to “View more class times”) to go to our calendar.  Toggle forward through the weeks and find the class that says “On-Ramp 1 (Intro)” if it doesn’t appear on the first page). Do NOT sign up for a class that says “CrossFit” as this is for experienced members. Follow the prompts to fill in your name and email, complete the waiver, and you will be registered for your free trial class. All you need to do then is show up to your scheduled class a few minutes early, ready to go!

How to sign up for a membership After your first Free on-ramp / intro class

After the free intro session, you can click here to sign up for a new member unlimited membership to continue into the on-ramp classes and begin your first month membership.  You will complete the remaining two on-ramp classes (1.5 hours each)  and then you will be able to attend regular group classes for the remainder of your monthly membership (ends 30 days from the date you sign up).  The emphasis of these sessions is to continue learning the foundational movements of CrossFit. These movements are taught in progression and we will cover many of the movements you will do in class so that when you join our community you will feel comfortable that you can execute them safely.  Each session will end with a short workout consisting of movements you learned in the session along with a short discussion.

You must reserve on-line for each on-ramp class in ZenPlanner.  If you cannot attend an on-ramp class you are registered for, you must cancel on-line and email at least 2 hours in advance.  Failure to appear or cancel the 2nd or 3rd class without 2 hours notice will result in a $35 rescheduling fee.
